Activity Chooser

You have already been using the Activity Chooser in this course. The Activity Chooser is a window that lists the activity and resources available to you in your Moodle course. The Activity Chooser is used to add content to your course. 

An activity requires a student to interact with the course. Examples of activities include assignments, quizzes, and forums. 

On the other hand, a resource is something a student reads, watches or listens to. Examples of resources include page, file and URL.

Accessing the Activity Chooser

1. Go to your course and turn on edit mode. Then select “Choose and Activity or Resource”.

2. The Activity Chooser window will open. Select the All, Activities, or Resources tab to find the activity or resource you need. You can also type in what you are looking for in the search bar. 

3. If you use the same resource often, you can star it by pressing on the star shape under the name of the resource or activity. Then it will appear in a new tab called “Starred”.

4. If you would like to learn more about a particular resource or activity, press on the information icon. 5. To add a resource or activity click on the activity or resource.
