Any and all information collected at our sites will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed except as required by law. Any information you give to CW4WAfghan - Darakht-e Danesh will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. Information You Provide Us

In order to view and complete courses on our LMS site, registration is required. As part of the registration process you will select a username specific to you and set your password. Your username represents you on the site and, in some courses, identifies you to other learners; it may be any appropriate name and does not need to contain your real name or other personally identifiable information such as your email.

Your password must have at least 8 characters, at least 1 digit(s), at least 1 lower case letter(s), at least 1 upper case letter(s), at least 1 non-alphanumeric character(s) such as as *, -, or #. You may choose any password you like within these requirements. Your password is private to you and is not visible to any of our personnel.

As part of the registration process you are also required to provide your email address and your first and last name. You may optionally choose to provide your city and country information. All of this information will not be visible to other learners but will be visible to site staff.

After registration you may set site preferences around language, management of notifications and messaging, calendar, and other details, as well as opt out of certain kinds of messages. You have the option to add additional names or nicknames, a photo, lists of interests, or additional contact information (social media, address, etc) to your profile. All of this information is completely voluntary and provided only at your discretion; please be aware that it will be visible to other course participants in some courses. Information that you choose to post in course forums is also visible to other course participants.

We use the information that you provide us for responding to your requests, to communicate with you, and to improve the content of our website. The primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you customized services, features and content, and give you an efficient personalized experience that best meets your needs.

If you choose to identify yourself by sending us an email or completing an online form, CW4WAfghan - Darakht-e Danesh employees and partners will have access to such information in order to contact you for customer service purposes. Our contact form includes the information automatically collected about you (see below) as well as the information you provide at registration and in the form itself. Information submitted by you, such as survey information and/or comments or feedback, may be stored in a personally-identifiable format and is used only for internal purposes and is not shared with people or organizations outside of CW4WAfghan - Darakht-e Danesh, its subsidiaries or successors in interest, and its partners, except as required by law. If we want to share your name outside this group or otherwise publicize the fact that you submitted materials or other information to us, then we will we ask your permission to use your name with the materials or other information you submitted to a particular part of this site.

Automatic Information Collection

When you visit our website, our Web server automatically recognizes and stores the web browser and OS you are using, the date and time you access our site, your preferred language, and the Internet Protocol (IP) address from where you came. We may be able to determine from an IP address your Internet Service Provider and approximate geographic location. We also aggregate information on what pages you access, your date and time of access, and metrics on your course progress and completion.

To assist us with that, we have implemented Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. This function enables Google Analytics to collect web traffic data using first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to give information aboubt visitor demographics and interests. Google Analytics does not store your personal information and we will only use aggregated behavioral information from this service. The information collected enables us to run site usage tools and create statistics about our site. These statistics help us to better understand how our site is being used and what we can do to make it more useful to visitors. We will not share this information with people or organizations outside of CW4WAfghan - Darakht-e Danesh, its subsidiaries or successors in interest, and its partners, except as required by law.

Cookies

You may update or change the information stored in your user profile at any time. Deletion of personal information and activity logs can be done on request. Data logs and other information associated with inactive users is automatically deleted after a retention period of two years. CW4WAfghan - Darakht-e Danesh will release any information that is required to be released by law or court order, or with your explicit permission. For the purposes of legal requirements for release of information, CW4WAfghan - Darakht-e Danesh complies with Canadian law. By using this site you agree to the collection and retention of data in Canada as laid out in this policy.

Policy Changes

The above policies are effective as of April 10, 2020. CW4WAfghan - Darakht-e Danesh reserves the right to change this policy at any time, which will be indicated by a new effective date. The use of information that we gather now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at this time.
